How does the AIFEI candle warmer lamp work?
A warming bulb in the head of the lamp sits above your jar candle and gently heats the top layer of wax. As the surface melts into a shallow pool, the fragrance is released into the room. The wick is never lit, so there is no open flame, no smoke and no black soot ring on the glass, and the wax sets flat again when you switch off.
Is the scent as strong as burning the candle?
Usually it is stronger and more even. A flame burns away part of the fragrance oil along with the wax, whereas a candle warmer releases it slowly from the whole melted surface. At 100% brightness the scent builds quickly; at 25% or 50% you get a soft, slow-melting background fragrance that lasts all evening.
What do the four brightness levels do?
They set both the glow and the heat. The bulb is the heat source, so 100% melts wax fastest and gives the strongest fragrance, while 25% gives a dim, cosy light and a gentle scent.
